So, you want to know about me, eh? You nosy little twit... OK, here goes... My name is Matthew Myers, and I'm old enough to know better. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 1996 with a degree in Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology. I retired as the Internet Graphics Designer for Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse after 7 years and I now have my own web design and hosting business, Bedford Falls Graphics. Who cares, right? Well, obviously you do. You're still reading, right? So, how did I get involved in MST3K? Well, you ever had one of those friends in High School that you did everything with? (Well, not YOU. I know why YOU'RE here, I'm talking about everybody else). Well, I did. His name was (and still is) Kelly T. Hoots. I took Kelly home one day after school and he wanted to show me something he'd taped off of satellite. It was a MST3K episode from Comedy Central. We sat and watched and laughed and quipped along with the little shadows on the screen. Every once and a while, he'd tape one and have to show me a clip from it. We'd laugh, it was funny.
Later, in my college years at ASU, my roommate was flipping through the channels one night. He called me into the living room wanting to know what was on the TV. I immediately recognized it. That night, we sat down and watched DADDY-O and the rest, as they say, is history. We never went to bed before 1:00am after that. We HAD to stay up and watch MST3K. It was a law. Anyone caught sleeping during MST3K would be subject to cruel and heinous punishment. (Namely, I'd place his STAR WARS figures in "naughty" positions). Well, one day, I was surfing the web and wandered upon Bo McDonald's 'Bot Building Site. As I flipped through the pages, I said to myself, "Matt..." (That's what I call myself when I'm alone), I said, "Matt... you can do that, you've already got the "TomServo" e-mail address (at least at that time, I did). Make you a Servo, my friend." So, the hunt began. Now, over a year later, I own a completed Servo, Cambot, Gypsy and Crow. I'm an addict. What can I say... Well, that's about all you need to know, you nosy little snit. If you want to know anything else, or have any questions about me, my life or my 'bots, feel free to e-mail me at BotBuilder@BedfordFallsGraphics.Com and maybe - just maybe - I'll answer you. Snootchie Bootchies! --Matt
